I was pretty excited about Plinko+ when I saw the news, but I have a bit of a mixed feeling after trying out the game. Simply put, this plinko game is a bit too plain for Pragmatic Play, which is essentially one of the top game providers in online gambling. The RTP of 97.50% and the max multiplier of 1000x aren't bad, but not outstanding compared to many other plinko games on gambling sites. The design is also pretty simple, although I do like their way of displaying Risk levels. No special feature or bonus buy. To be fair, I would have expected something a lot more innovative coming from the industry's leading figure.
However, as Pragmatic Play holds many in-house promotions like Drop&Wins and races, I'm hoping this plinko can be part of such special events on a daily basis.
Pros:
Developed by one of the top game providers in online gambling
Hold for Turbo Spin feature
Potential promotion integration in the future
Cons:
No special features like bonus buy

97.50% is Plinko+'s Return to Player, which is pretty standard among online plinko games in general. The house edge is therefore 2.50%. This means you can expect 97.50% of your stake in return in the long run.
The biggest win on Plinko+ is 1000x your bet. This means you can win $1000 from a mere $1 stake on this plinko, for example.
Plinko+ doesn't really shine when it comes to special features. The game sticks to plinko's basics. What is, at least, unique about this plinko is that the game has Pragmatic Play's famous "Hold for Turbo". It allows balls to fall quicker than normal play while you hold the spin button.
Honestly speaking, we still don't know yet. Plinko and other instant games tend to be excluded from bonuses and promotions on most online gambling sites, and Plinko+ wouldn't be an exception.
Pragmatic Play's Plinko+ follows the same principle as other plinko games: Adjust your stake, pick the Risk level, set the lines, and drop balls. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to play Plinko+.
First of all, decide how much you want to bet per ball. You can simply do so from the [+] [-] buttons next to the Spin button or tap the coin icon if you're playing the mobile version.
Next, pick the Risk level you want to play the plinko on. There are three levels to choose from. This parameter determines the winning pocket distribution at the bottom of the plinko pyramid.
Lastly, select the number of lines you want to have on your plinko pyramid. This determines how many rows of pins to be placed in the pyramid and affects the number of winning pockets at the bottom.
Now that everything is set up, it's time to start your stake! Press the Spin button to drop a ball. If you want to drop more than 1 ball, press it again or hold it so it continues until you stop.
Plinko+ comes with an autoplay mode just like Pragmatic Play slots. Hit "AUTOPLAY" over the Spin button or press the Play icon on the mobile version. You can choose between Turbo and Quick spins, which is the game speed, and set a number of balls you want to drop in the autoplay.
As mentioned earlier, you can configure the game settings to your liking on Plinko+. If you want to aim for the maximum 1,000 multiplier pocket, you must have the highest risk level and the highest number of lines. Here is a list of the lowest and highest prize pockets for 8 lines and 16 lines on each level.
Risk | Low | Low | Medium | Medium | High | High |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Multiplier | Minimum | Maximum | Minimum | Maximum | Minimum | Maximum |
8 Lines | 0.5x | 5.3x | 0.4x | 12.8x | 0.2x | 28.2x |
16 Lines | 0.5x | 16x | 0.3x | 110xx | 0.2x | 1000x |
Like many other plinko games, you need to understand what kind of player you are. If you want to enjoy the gameplay for a longer time, you should stick to lower risk and lower lines. If you want a rather balanced gameplay, set the middle risk and pick the number of lines in the middle range. Are you a risk-tolerant player? Then go for the highest risk on the highest number of lines to try your luck!
Either way, you should always keep an eye on your bankroll. It’s easy to rapid-fire multiple balls, so if you’re not careful, you can burn through your funds quickly. In the end, the best strategy is gambling responsibly.
